Members of the committee as appointed at the WPC meeting 23 June are Cllrs Bonsall, Hughes (Chairperson), McGuinness, Sorrell and Stephenson.
Please note: The meeting will be followed immediately by a meeting of the Finance and General Purposes (F&GP) Committee. The F&GP committee may have to postpone its start time until this committee is closed.

- To agree the wording of the advert.

Members considered the draft person specification and job description in some detail and agreed on a final version. b) To consider a pay scale on the NJC national Scale for the Events Coordinator post to be advertised at and recommend to F&GP committee. There was no F&GP committee that evening. The committee agreed for the post to be part-time for 18 hours per week paid at NJC SCP 13-17 – £14.60-15.58 per hour. c) To consider a suitable time scale for advertising, shortlisting and interviews to be incorporated in the adverts for the post. The committee agreed a closing deadline of midnight 24 August, with interviews being held 4th and 5th September. d) To agree the wording of the advert. Cllr Hughes volunteered to draft the job advert. e) To agree where to advertise the post and approve any expenditure required. The committee agreed to advertise the role on Indeed, the Nottinghamshire ALC website, the council’s own website and social media. None of the chosen methods should incur a cost. |

The committee agreed for the post to be part-time for 15 hours per week paid at NJC SCP 24-28 £17.79 – £19.66 per hour. c) To consider a suitable time scale for advertising, shortlisting and interviews to be incorporated in the adverts for the post. The committee agreed a closing deadline of midnight 24 August, with interviews being held 4th and 5th September. d) To agree the wording of the advert.
