Welbeck & Warsop Retirees & Mining Old Boys

With support from Mark at The Plough Inn and generous funding from NMWTF, a new weekly social gathering is taking place at The Plough every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm throughout the winter months, for those feeling isolated or in need of a bit of company.

There will be free tea and coffee, and there’ll be pool, darts, cards, dominoes, chess, and draughts to enjoy. with hot food also available to buy.

A similar group for veterans runs at the same time, meaning there’s always a friendly mix of people.

Mark and the group would like to spread the word and extend a warm welcome to anyone feeling isolated, in need of a bit of company, or who just fancies a cuppa and a chat.
