Warsop Parish Council – Councillor Vacancy

Pursuant to section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Parish Councillor for the Netherfield Ward following the resignation of Andy McCormack.

If, within 14 days after the date of this notice (i.e. no later than 13 July 2026), a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer Mansfield District Council, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, Notts, NG19 7BH by TEN electors for the said Parish or Parish Ward, an election will be held to fill the vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place not later than 15 September 2026.
