Our Winterfest took place on 6th December at The Shed, where we welcomed over 650 people through the doors for an evening of free entertainment and activities.
We collected donations for Christmas Smile and Target One. Christmas Smile is a community-run initiative led by volunteers which, thanks to your generosity, provides presents and treat hampers to families in Church Warsop, Meden Vale, Sookholme, Spion Kop, Warsop and Warsop Vale who need extra support over the Christmas period.
Target One provides groups and activities within the local community, offering a safe and fun space for young people to spend time together. With your help, we raised over £200 to support these two fantastic causes and help them continue their amazing work.
We would like to extend our enormous thanks to everyone who attended, performed, donated, purchased from our wonderful traders, or helped in any way to make Winterfest happen.
It truly is the community coming together that makes events like this possible, and we can’t thank you enough.
We’ll be back in the New Year and would love to hear your feedback on how we can continue to make these events a success and provide meaningful activities for Warsop. If you have any thoughts to share, or photos from the event, please do get in touch — we’d love to hear from you.
