Pursuant to Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972, you are hereby summoned to attend an additional meeting of the Full Council which will be held on Monday, 9th March 2026 commencing 6.30pm at Lifespring (old Town Hall).
The business of the meeting is set out in the agenda below.

| 2025-189 | Full Council approval of the Future Warsop funding and projects:
a) To formerly approve the receipt of £252,868 in funds – £76,868 (CDF revenue) and £176,000 (capital) b) To formerly approve the projects outlined in the funding application and agree to the expenditure to deliver them c) To formerly resolve that delegated authority for ALL decisions regarding this project delivery be given to the following individuals**: · The Clerk/RFO – financial responsibility, procurement legislation and tender process, governance, compliance, transparency, establishment of panel terms of reference and recruitment of panel members, reporting, monitoring and safeguarding, GDPR, etc. · Support from the Events Coordinator in terms of events coordination, advertising, marketing, communications, volunteer management, reporting and community liaison · Cllr N McGuiness (Chair of the Parish Council, Market Warsop Councillor) – project management, tender process/contractor management, monitoring, reporting, community liaison & partnerships, marketing, events · Cllr J Stephenson (Chair of the F&GP Committee, Market Warsop Councillor) – tender process/contractor management, monitoring, reporting, community liaison & partnerships, marketing, events · Cllr A Burgin (Assistant lead in the original application and community consultation) – MDC Parks liaison, tender process/contractor management, events, community liaison and partnerships |

RESOLVED: Cllr A Burgin proposed that the Minutes should be approved. This was seconded by Cllr J Stephenson, and it was agreed the minutes were a true record. They were signed by the Chair. |

| 2025-188 | Future Warsop – A Mayoral Investment into our Community
To receive a presentation from Councillors N McGuiness, J Stephenson and A Burgin regarding the East Midlands Mayor’s Community Development Fund including the content of the bid, the proposed projects, the proposed timescales, costs and plans for delivery. ‘ A presentation was received by members of the Parish Council. There was a discussion and the following points were highlighted: · Mayor Claire would be coming to Warsop this month for the launch meeting – this is being planned · MDC would be involved in the design, technical specification and advice regarding the park at Swallows Green (Clerk liaising and to set up a meeting soon) · Clerk liaising with MDC/Notts ALC re VAT element of the roof · Another meeting to be arranged soon with Swallows Green Community Group for ideas and volunteer support · Two quotes have been received to date for The Shed roof · Consultations would soon take place with schools and youth club attendees regarding their ideas and thoughts on the park spec · It was reasonable to assume that the Parish Council aim for Swallows Green completion Spring/Summer 2027 – need to factor in rules of Purdah for Local and District Elections. Clerk asked to edit the Quarterly Payment Schedule to be submitted. · Cllr N McGuiness is working with a volunteer for match funding. |

Monthly payments and receipts will be reported to Full Council and/or the F&GP Committee at each relevant meeting for approval and transparency. Regular reports submitted to the Mayor’s Office will also be shared with Parish Council members. Regular updates will be put on the website and social media. Parish Council members will be given the opportunity to apply for a position on the Grassroots Fund panel, as Parish Council representatives.
